Welcome to Family Martial Arts Fitness Academy and our website. We are dedicated to making your martial arts experience enjoyable, exciting and satisfying. We have been offering instruction and training in Karate, Taekwondo, and Self-Defense since 1987. Located in Washington, Missouri, Family Martial Arts Fitness Academy started out as Mid Missouri Moo Do Kwan, operating a once-a-week Karate/Taekwondo program through the Washington Parks & Recreation Department, and has produced champions in life as well as in the martial arts.

Our instruction is the best because our instructors are the best! They have studied and trained for many years to qualify as part of the Family Martial Arts Fitness Academy team. Under the direction of Grandmaster Norman Leeker their mission is to provide the best training available to assist you in being the best that you can be.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
Our goal is to train each of our students to not only become a Black Belt in Martial Arts, but to become a BLACK BELT in every aspect of their life. From the youngest Kickin' Kid to the highest Black Belt all of our staff and students are continually guided by the 5 tenets of Taekwondo: Courtesy, Integrity, Perseverance, Self-Control, and Indomitable Spirit.
